Hello, I’m

Isaac Urman

Product Engineer

I take products from idea to production: the app, the systems behind it, and the infrastructure it runs on. Software that actually ships.

About Me

I'm a product engineer and team lead. Right now I lead a team of 15+ engineers building an enterprise CRM platform used by 1,000+ people. I designed its architecture and still write a lot of its code. Before that: Salesforce consulting across 6+ client organizations, a systems co-op at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and a B.S. in Computer Science (Data Science minor) from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Along the way I've automated billing systems, migrated company data between platforms, built real-time scheduling tools, and shipped AI-powered products. I like the unglamorous middle of software (data migrations, invoicing edge cases, deploy pipelines) because that's usually where products live or die.

On my own time I build and run products end to end. ResuPals is a resume builder I launched with accounts, subscription billing, and AI job tailoring. I handle its architecture, its Stripe integration, its compliance, and its support. I also run a production-grade homelab and a game server hosting business I founded in 2018: real customers, real monitoring, real 3 a.m. alerts. Operating my own infrastructure and my own billing has shaped how I build and deploy software everywhere else.

02.Experience

Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead

@Tasty LLC

Sep 2025 to Present · Remote

  • Lead a cross-functional team of 15+ engineers building an enterprise CRM platform used by 1,000+ people, owning architecture decisions, code review, and delivery
  • Designed the platform architecture the whole team builds on: a TypeScript monorepo spanning creator management, financial operations, and team collaboration
  • Built the finance module end to end: multi-method payment processing, recurring cost tracking, invoice generation, P&L statements, and 2FA around sensitive operations
  • Set up the observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki) with proactive alerting for container health, database saturation, and security incidents
  • Built the CI/CD pipeline in GitHub Actions: automated migrations with senior-gated generation to prevent schema conflicts, PR pre-flight validation, and dependency checks

Founder & Solo Engineer

@ResuPals (independent)

Jan 2026 to Present · Remote

  • Built and launched a subscription resume and cover letter product end to end: architecture, front end, database, auth, payments, email, and support
  • Shipped Stripe billing across four paid tiers with a credit system for AI job tailoring, granting plans only on confirmed payment and reconciling checkout races that had stranded paying customers
  • Handled the consumer compliance side myself: published refund policy, explicit withdrawal consent, and pre-renewal notices for annual plans
  • Migrated the app onto Cloudflare Workers and D1, then removed the untracked migration path entirely after drift blocked every production deploy
  • Kept a genuinely local guest mode alongside accounts, and rewrote the product privacy claims when cloud sync made the original ones untrue
